Introduction

Sri Lankan Information Technology is being one of the best in the world. Tech Geeks from Sri Lanka are working in the most reputed companies like Facebook, Samsung, Google, Amazon, and more Multi-National Companies. This is the best face of Sri Lanka is shown by the Tech Enthusiasts from all over Island.

The contribution by the Tech Geeks to the community is developing the future Tech Geeks as well. That’s how the Postman Community from Sri Lanka conducted the workshop for the enthusiastic undergraduates.

What is APIs 101 Session

APIs 101 session was conducted to give some overall idea about APIs, Responses and Requests, Postman, Postman Testing Scripts, and how to become a Postman Student Expert. This session was conducted by the Postman Student Export and Postman Student Leader from Sri Lanka.

During the Session, they provided the necessary information to the beginner who doesn’t have any idea about APIs or the API Testing Tools like Postman. The hands-on session by the moderators for API Requests and Responses was one the most productive part of the session.

Doing the demonstrations are the prominent benefit of the Technological Sessions like this. The demonstrators did their job during the Theoretical Explanations as well as the Practical Demonstrations. At the end of the session they had conducted the Q&A Session to clear the doubts and thoughts which occurred during the session. They gave a clear pathway idea about become a Postman Student Expert at the end of the session.

Conclusion

This session was one of the most productive sessions I’ve attended recently. Kudos to the demonstrators and their content selection for the session. Looking forward to have more Postman Student Experts from Sri Lanka o contribute more to the community.
